Because of your generosity, leaders across Africa are serving the most vulnerable every day. With the first quarter of 2025 now complete, we’re excited to share a glimpse of the impact you’ve helped make possible:

Fun fact! In our reports, we only use images from the period we’re reporting on – meaning you get to see your impact in real-time.

New Year. New Dreams. New Goals.
Every new year brings a mix of excitement and reflection—fresh goals, big dreams, and sometimes a lingering weight of what hasn’t yet changed. The difference often lies in what we choose to focus on.
Here at Ten Thousand Homes, we continue to focus on hope. Nearly 20 years in, we’ve seen dreams become reality—not through one person, but through many saying yes and linking arms. Families and communities continue to be transformed through radical generosity, genuine relationships, and the shared belief that change happens best together.

Same vision. Same heart. Growing hope.
This quarter, local leaders are telling us they see something stirring: real change and a hunger for more. Feeding program leaders report that children’s health is visibly improving after just a couple of months of consistent nutrition. New families are being identified and cared for through growing trust and relationship.
In 2022, a local partner introduced us to a man who was told he didn’t have long to live. Your generosity partnered with this leader, providing shelter, nutrition, and ongoing relational support. Today, this man greets us at the door of a home you helped build. Joy fills every room. This is the kind of radical change that comes through showing up again and again.

Lasting Impact lies in consistency.
Your consistency in showing up—with generosity, time, and heart—has made all the difference. Our leaders are doing the same, offering their gifts to uplift others. And the most vulnerable are consistently rising, holding tight to hope and refusing to let go of their right to thrive.
This season feels like both a reminder and a warm-up: a reminder of what’s possible, and a nudge to keep going. The future is bright, and we get to build it—together.
Siyabonga Kakhulu. Asante Sana. Thank you!
