kagiso* had hit rock bottom.
This young man left Mozambique to look for a better life in South Africa. But life is hard, and being an immigrant in a foreign country made it even harder. He felt directionless and turned to drugs for escape. He struggled to support his son and keep food on the table.
we love how nutritious meals open the door for hope to come in.

When his family began to receive food parcels, it created an opportunity for relational support. Kagiso took hold of it. Here, he saw something different – there wasn’t judgment, just love and compassion. Hope began to grow inside of him.
Kagiso started to take ownership of his life again, reaching out for community and accountability. Now, he gets jobs as a builder, and is building a brighter future for himself and his family.
sometimes all we need is a reminder that we are not alone and that there is still hope.
And sometimes it starts with something as simple as a meal.
Thank you. Your generosity plays a vital role in providing vulnerable families like Kagiso’s with opportunities to take hold of a better future.
