Feeding Programs
Food gives us the energy to grow, work, play, learn and love! Providing a nutritious meal in impoverished communities is one way that Ten Thousand Homes is creating HOME for the orphans and vulnerable children in Southern Africa. TTH identifies and comes alongside local Africans who are already making a difference in their communities when we establish feeding programs. Local ownership of community projects is an important value of TTH. We are currently partnering with the Evangelical Reformed Church in Mbonisweni and Sizanani Home Based Care in Dwaleni to feed hundreds of children in each community.
Handing a warm plate of food to a hungry child does so much more than satisfy a physical need. It is a gateway for sharing the love of Christ and of building relationship with the children that will result in the transformation of Africa’s future.
